Cuyahoga County commissioners have selected Cleveland’s downtown mall - home to the current Convention Center at 500 Lakeside Avenue -  as the site for the $425 million convention center and medical mart development.  This site is approximately two blocks from The Avenue District’s ten-story condo building at 1211 St. Clair Avenue.
